Event Description:

Can we have water resiliency in the Bay Area?

Sustainability of our water resources is a popular concept that has been discussed for several years. What does it mean and is there any substance to a program. High-tech businesses in Silicon Valley have supported a non-profit organization - Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV) - to promote sustainability and resilience water management. SSV brings together leading tech companies, cities, counties, research, and educational institutions to solve sustainability issues that cannot be solved alone.

Our guest is Cynthia (Cindy) Clark, Senior Water Director for SSV. She developed SSV’s Water Replenish Project in order to create local water resiliency and help restore aquatic ecosystems.

Please come and learn about current activities being conducted by a non-profit organization sponsored by high tech business members in Silicon Valley.
