Kaiser Permanente College Notes is back for its second year of a cappella performances at the Lesher Center for the Arts (LCA) in Walnut Creek. The program will be emceed by Deke Sharon, known as “the father of contemporary a cappella.” Sharon’s credits include musical director and arranger for all three Pitch Perfect movies and producer of The Sing-Off. Since last year’s one night show sold out, two performances will be offered on March 9 and 10.
The evening will feature some of the top universities and their award winning college a cappella groups:
Berklee College of Music - Pitch Slapped
Duke - Out of the Blue
Stanford - Harmonics
Tufts – Beelzebubs
UC Berkeley - Men's Octet
USC - SoCal VoCals
